The MFA Writing Program at UNC Greensboro will host a fiction and poetry reading by Matt Coz and DJ Ferguson on Friday, March 5th at 7PM. A part of the MFA Writing Program’s 2021 Thesis Reading Series, this virtual event will be livestreamed via our YouTube channel. It is free and open to the public.
Matt Coz is an MFA candidate in fiction at UNC Greensboro. He has lived in Argentina, Spain, Costa Rica, Honduras, and scattered cities, both big and small, across the US. His story, “Ashes to Ashes,” won the 2019 Slippery Elm Prize in Prose.
DJ Ferguson is a former high school English teacher, soccer coach, volunteer tax preparer, Dungeon Master, repo man, cigar lounge waiter, and World of Warcraft guild leader. Currently, he is a father, musician, amateur chef, motorcycle rider, and peacocking house husband. When he dies, he hopes to be well read, well spoken, and well traveled.
