Light the Way is your opportunity to energize the ambitions of these entities in the way you find most meaningful — whether it reflects your student major, your current profession, or simply an area important to you.
Know that wherever you direct your support, you are illuminating the path ahead for our students, our region, and our state. Your gift will help UNCG produce citizens who are smart, adaptable, committed, and caring.
Each year, the MFA faculty invites authors and editors to Greensboro for our Distinguished Visiting Writers Series, which features virtual and on-campus readings, workshops, and master classes. Guests have included poet laureates and winners of the Pulitzer Prize, the National Book Award, and the PEN/Hemingway Award, among others.
Publishing the best fiction and poetry—regardless of theme, subject, or style
We work closely with authors and believe that their writing is what makes the journal. The Review staff takes great pride in the personal side of literary magazine publishing, from that first acceptance phone call to the many careful hours spent on each manuscript. With each new issue, our editors focus their time and energy on the stories and poems within the covers, all the while following a “plain and dignified” design that reaches back to the 1966 inaugural Greensboro Review.
