Eliana Franklin and Margarite Nathe MFA Thesis Reading

The MFA Writing Program at UNC Greensboro will host a poetry and fiction reading by Eliana Franklin and Margarite Nathe on Friday, February 7th at 6:00 PM at Scuppernong Books, 304 South Elm Street. A part of the MFA Writing Program’s 2025 Thesis Reading Series, the event is free and open to the public.

ELIANA FRANKLIN is a second-year poet in UNC Greensboro’s MFA in Creative Writing. She has previously been published in Pensive: A Global Journal of Spirituality and The Arts and Deep Wild: Writing from the Backcountry. She can often be found outside, writing poetry about her experiences exploring forests and rivers across North Carolina. Eliana currently serves as a Teaching Assistant in the Department of English.

MARGARITE NATHE is originally from the orange groves and cow pastures of Florida and now lives in Pittsboro, North Carolina. A recipient of a 2024-2025 Fred Chappell Creative Writing Fellowship, she works in nonprofit strategic communications.
