It is with heavy hearts we share the passing of Rosemary Roberts.
Rosemary Roberts taught Fundamentals of Journalism for the English department until retiring in 2020.
Upon her retirement, she wrote to Dr. Scott Romine “UNCG is a great university and being on its faculty has been very special for me. But teaching online has been frustrating and made me realize it’s time to move on. I have a couple of writing projects in the works and a stack of books waiting for years to be read. But I am sure I will miss teaching students, too. Thanks again for many happy years in the English department.”
A memorial service for Rosemary Roberts will be held on April 9 at First Presbyterian Church in Greensboro. The time is pending.
Rosemary Roberts, age 83, of Greensboro, North Carolina passed away on Wednesday, January 26, 2022. Rosemary was born April 1, 1938 in Albertville, AL.
