Alum Spotlight: Holly Mason Badra

Congratulations to Holly Mason Badra (BA ’11) for receiving the Rose Pascarell and Ric Chollar Professional Service Award for serving the LGBTQ+ community through collaboration at George Mason University!
 
Holly recounts of her time at UNCG in the English department that the creative writing faculty were highly influential in her path. “Stuart Dischell & Michael Parker wrote my recommendation letters when I was pursuing MFA Creative Writing programs (& I ended up receiving my MFA from GMU). Profesora Sanchez was also an instructor who influenced me greatly, as well as Jim Evans and Dr. Karen Weyler.”
