Nita Tyndall (’16) is a graduate of UNCG’s English program and currently a YA writer. Their debut novel, Who I Was with Her, about a bisexual cross-country runner grieving the death of her secret girlfriend, was published in 2020 by Harper Collins. Their second novel, Nothing Sung and Nothing Spoken, about the Swingjugend resistance in WWII Berlin, will be published in October. They are currently on a Fulbright teaching fellowship in Austria. When not writing, they translate books from German and spend time with their partner and cat.
