Lecturer Evan Fackler Wins The 2022 Roskelly Pedagogical Innovation Award

Congratulations to Evan Fackler (MFA ’20) for winning the 2022 Hephzibah Roskelly Pedagogical Innovation Award! This award honors our beloved Hephzibah Roskelly, who retired from UNCG in 2016, and recognizes outstanding and inventive pedagogical practice in undergraduate academic writing courses.

Evan’s innovative teaching practices center on reading, in particular on engaging students in reading as an embodied, collective, performative practice that helps them connect to reading as a source of pleasure, not simply as a transactional task. #UNCGEnglish
