English Students win 2nd Place At The 2021 Carolyn and Norwood Thomas Undergraduate Research and Creativity Expo.

Congratulations to Alyssa Cavalieri and Lady Carlin-Rojas, student researchers from English, who earned 2nd place in the Humanities division of the recent 2021 Carolyn and Norwood Thomas Undergraduate Research and Creativity Expo.

An Enduring Image of the Pythia: Embedded in Art History

The team worked on an interdisciplinary team (with Public Health Education) this past semester to create a prototype for an interactive narrative about the challenges of patient-provider interactions related to substance exposed pregnancy (SEP). The narrative’s goal is to address the stigma related to SEP. Alyssa and Lady were the “rhetoric team” tasked with researching interactive game design and supporting the writing of the narrative prototype.
