The English Department participates in a junior year exchange program with the University of Hull in England. There are, furthermore, numerous opportunities for exchange with other universities abroad. These programs are very reasonably priced–the cost of attending UNCG plus transportation. For information on these programs, visit the Office of International Programs, 203 Foust Building.
On occasion, the Department organizes and staffs a Summer School Abroad in England. Ordinarily this is a six-week program; the location and subject matter vary from year to year. The program usually carries six undergraduate credits, but arrangements are often made to offer graduate credit as well.
