Louise Glück: winner of the Nobel Prize in Literature, former US Poet Laureate, author, and former UNCG visiting lecturer.
In the spring of 1973, Louis Glück taught “Approaches to Poetry” and a graduate workshop in the MFA program.

According to the catalog issue from 1972-1973, Louise Glück was brought in as a visiting lecturer for the spring semester of 1973, and is listed to teach a section of English 527.

And according to News & Record, she returned to UNCG in 1997 for a reading at the Alumni House sponsored by the MFA Creative Writing Program.
