Destiny Hemphill Poetry Reading

The Creative Writing Program at UNC Greensboro and The Greensboro Review will host a poetry reading by Destiny Hemphill on Thursday, September 25th at 6PM in Room 1215 of the MHRA Building on the UNCG Campus. The event is free and open to the public and will be followed by a book signing.
DESTINY HEMPHILL (she/her) is a ritual worker and poet based in Durham, NC. A recipient of fellowships from Naropa University’s Summer Writing Program, Callaloo, Tin House, and Kenyon’s Writers Workshop, she is the author of motherworld: a devotional for the afterlife (Action Books, 2023) and the poetry chapbook Oracle: a Cosmology (Honeysuckle Press, 2018).
