The MFA Writing Program at UNC Greensboro will host a fiction and poetry reading by Sophie Shaw and Dom Witten on Friday, January 28th at 7:00 PM at Scuppernong Books, 304 South Elm Street. A part of the MFA Writing Program’s 2022 Thesis Reading Series, the event is free and open to the public.
Sophie Shaw is from Hillsborough, NC. She writes fiction and creative nonfiction and works as a peer consultant at the Writing Center at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro.
Dom Witten is a poet from Detroit, MI. She is a Co-Founder and Program Director of the Poetics Lab that focuses on identity, poetry and performance. Dom teaches intro to college writing in the Department of English at UNC Greensboro.
